Chapter Recruitment

Dear Potential New Member,

The women of the Beta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma are so happy to have you considering joining the Greek Life community here at West Virginia University! From making new friends, having leadership opportunities and making a impact on the students on campus KKG will have a great impact on all of these.

Joining a sorority is not just about making friends and gaining “sisters” it’s about the experience, and the bond you have. I encourage every young women on this campus to rush during the upcoming spring semester for the experience. Keeping an open mind during this long, fun-filled process is the biggest advice I could give you. The week is just a small look inside of a huge future you can have with the Kappa sisters or another great chapter here on campus. Kappa Kappa Gamma strives for academic excellence holding one of the highest GPA’s on campus for many years running.

Joining this amazing sorority has been a journey, starting with recruitment seeing every house was so amazing. Being able to find a home away from home as a freshman was so comforting, I found people to go to the library with, watch movies with and most importantly bond with. I know that these lovely ladies of 265 Prospect Street will be within my heart forever and I cannot wait to welcome new women into this Sisterhood in just a few short months!

I hope you have the best time during recruitment, and I hope you find your new home away from home!

Best of luck,

Becky McCormick
