Date Parties and Formals

Beta Upsilon hosts a date parties and a formal each semester! These social events allow our members to get dressed up for a fun-filled night at one of our venues! At date parties members dress up in cocktail attire for a few hours downtown! Each member can bring a date to introduce to the chapter, but many also fly solo! We have one formal event each semester, in which everyone dresses up in ball gowns to head downtown. At formal, we serve food and members bring a date as well. In the Fall is our Sapphire Ball and the Spring is our Kappa Krush valentine's date party, check them out below:

Sapphire Ball

Sapphire Ball is our second invite of the fall semester, and gives Kappas a chance to get all dressed up!  Sapphire Ball is a great time to celebrate with our friends before leaving for Winter Break. Dressed to impress, we invite our dates to a magical evening of dinner, dancing, and tons of laughing! 

Kappa Krush

Our Spring semester starts off with Kappa Krush, our exciting valentine's date event! This is our first date party with our spring new member class! Everyone dresses in valentines attire and it's one of Kappa's most beloved traditions. 

Socials 

Socials are just another exciting part of Kappa social life. Kappa participates at least 6 exchanges per year, where we pair up with a fraternity, dress up in costumes or themed outfits, and enjoy a night of socializing and dancing together at the various amazing venues Morgantown has to offer! Exchanges are some of KKG’s favorite social events and a great way to get to know different fraternities. One of our favorite socials that we have every spring semester is our Gossip Girl Social!
